VIRTUAL PRODUCTION WORKSHOP

Participate in live demonstrations of virtual production technologies including motion-tracked virtual cameras and green-screen compositing with Brent Mason of Natural Point, Inc. and William Bares of College of Charleston.  For years, Brent worked on major Hollywood productions as a motion capture technician.  William is a researcher who develops collaborative 3D applications for teaching camera composition and editing.

PRINCIPLES OF ANIMATION
presented by the Art Institute of Charleston

Participants will gain a basic understanding of the process for creating 2-dimensional animation sequences through traditional methods in the computer. They learn the various principles of animation through a series of building blocks exercises using software to produce on screen animations. Software used during the workshop will include After Effects/Flash.
